Recipients demonstrate excellence in programming and possess strong skills in program development. They quickly expand their workload and effectively promote their programs.
Since joining EFNEP on June 3, 2024, as the new Adult and Youth Educator in Pitt County, Jamie Carlson has made a significant impact. A former teacher, Jamie leverages her strong background and skills to teach both youth and adult groups. In her first year, she has demonstrated remarkable achievements, quickly establishing a solid program and achieving measurable impacts. Her ability to connect with diverse audiences, along with a commitment to innovation and community engagement, truly reflects her ingenuity and dedication. Jamie’s willingness to go above and beyond in her short tenure makes her a standout candidate and highly deserving of this award.
