Collapse ▲We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible accomplishment of Chrissy Barbrey, our EFNEP Educator in Halifax County! Juggling the demands of a full-time job, raising a family, and embracing the joys of grandparenthood (“Gigi” status!) certainly presented its challenges, but Chrissy persevered and successfully earned her Associate in Arts degree from Halifax Community College in December 2024.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to Chrissy’s dedication and incredible work ethic. Her determination serves as an inspiration to us all, reminding us that with perseverance and a strong support system, anything is possible. Building on this success, Chrissy’s academic journey continues! She has been accepted into East Carolina University and has begun pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Services with a concentration in Family Science. We are excited to witness her continued success and eagerly anticipate the many accomplishments that lie ahead. We are incredibly proud of Chrissy and excited to witness her continued growth and success. We wish her all the best in her academic endeavors and are here to support and cheer her along every step of the way!
