Collapse ▲This month, the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) West Unit came together not only for their regular meeting but to celebrate two incredible team members, Rhonda Church and Seydel Cropps, as they prepare for retirement. These remarkable women have devoted decades of service to EFNEP, leaving behind a legacy of commitment, impact, and inspiration. Rhonda Church has dedicated over 15 years to EFNEP, while Seydel Cropps has served for an impressive 23 years. Their work has touched countless others, helping families and individuals lead healthier, more informed lives.
As a gesture of appreciation, both were presented with a Crystal Apple by Lisa Benavente, NCSU State EFNEP Coordinator. This symbolic token of gratitude reflects their years of outstanding service and unwavering dedication to the program. The celebration was made even more special with lunch provided by Surry County Cooperative Extension. It was a time for colleagues to share stories, reflect on memories, and express heartfelt thanks to Rhonda and Seydel for their invaluable contributions.
To cap off the day, the unit participated in a team-building activity that brought out everyone’s creative side. Together, they crafted beautiful wintry masterpieces, adding a touch of fun and festivity to the gathering. As Rhonda and Seydel prepare to embark on this exciting new chapter, their EFNEP family sends them off with immense gratitude and best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement. Their dedication, passion, and hard work will continue to inspire the team for years to come. Here’s to Rhonda and Seydel—thank you for everything!
