The Susan McCaskill Morgan Professional Development Endowment Award was created in honor of Susan McCaskill Morgan, who upon her retirement as an EFNEP Extension Associate established the Susan McCaskill Morgan Professional Development Endowment. This award was designed in an effort to assist EFNEP educators as they pursue higher education through formal course work. The minimum award each year is $500. This year’s recipient is Cindy Rivenbark of Pender County.

Cindy Rivenbark

Cindy has recently enrolled in college classes at Cape Fear Community College with a “four-year pathway plan” to pursue an Associate of Arts and transfer into Nutritional Science at NC State University for a bachelor of science.
