On Friday, December 2nd, EFNEP hosted a fun and educational opportunity in the Southeast District of the state. Local chef, John LaTour, of Healthy Families, Healthy Futures donated his time to provide an educational workshop for the EFNEP Educators and FCS Agents. Chef John shared “Healthy Holiday Swaps” and prepared 9 recipes from his collection. N.C. Cooperative Extension, Brunswick County Center hosted this hands-on food preparation workshop. Our staff is eager to go out and share their newly developed skills with their community members.
