The New EFNEP Educator Educator Award is given to an educator who meets or exceeds program goals within the first three years of employment. The educator quickly develops their workload and markets their programs effectively.
This year’s recipient is Betsy Hooker of Henderson County.
Betsy began her career with EFNEP on January 3, 2022. She has shown impressive program leadership skills with the management of volunteers, the coordination of a Policy, Systems, and Environment project, serving as a leader within her EFNEP region, and acquiring grants and contributions to further enhance her program.
Betsy exhibits innovation and creativity in her programming and is always looking to enhance her participants' experience. Betsy exceeded her targets and exemplified excellence in programming within her first two years as an EFNEP educator and is well deserving of the New EFNEP Educator Award. Congratulations Betsy!
