July Northeast District Shoutout Featuring Della Hicks!

We are thrilled to share the Northeast District Monthly Shoutout for July 2025. Della Hicks, Adult EFNEP Educator in Pasquotank County, is being featured for her participation in the EFNEP Southern Region Conference on April 23, 2025. Della's work was spotlighted as a "Program of Distinction" at the conference for the impactful partnership that she has fostered with the Food Bank of the Albemarle. Della's dedication and the success of this collaboration was showcased to EFNEP program staff from across the entire Southern Region, highlighting a model of excellence in community engagement.

Della Hicks was featured in a session entitled "Programs of Distinction" at the EFNEP Southern Region Meeting which was held in Raleigh on April 23, 2025. Della was the star of the show as she shared with EFNEP leaders from across the country her nutrition education work and partnership with Food Bank of the Albemarle.

We couldn't be prouder of Della's accomplishments and this well-deserved recognition. Way to go, Della! Your hard work and commitment are making a real difference in your community.
