Grands Recipe Makeover Culinary Creations

Kathy Copeland, EFNEP educator in Bertie County, has been fully immersed in teaching culinary skills to her Grands Recipe Makeover group participants this summer. They recently prepared two versions of lasagna, one using ground beef and the other using ground turkey. The group was surprised to learn that most couldn't tell the difference in the finished products! The group also worked with Edward Godfrey III, Bertie County Ag/Horticulture Agent, on planting herb seeds and vegetable plants.
