Collaboration and delicious food always make for a great workday! EFNEP educators from the North and South Central regions gathered at the state-of-the-art Durham Center Food Lab for our latest quarterly meeting. These meetings are a vital space for our team to align on program goals, share best practices, and—most importantly—get hands-on with the nutrition education we bring to our communities.

After sharpening our knife skills, it was time to turn on the stoves. The team got a sneak peek (and a taste!) of another highly anticipated new curriculum addition. Needless to say, the recipe passed the taste test with flying colors! Our educators are officially equipped and incredibly excited to bring these healthy, delicious, and affordable meal ideas to our adult and youth classes across the regions. Thank you to Mac for leading an excellent training session, and to all the educators who brought their energy and passion to the table.
