This week, five new team members joined us on campus at the Dinah E. Gore Teaching and Research Kitchens for hands on food training. Staff learned new skills, strategies and best practices to bring back to their communities in Durham, Guilford, Alamance, Columbus, and Northampton counties.
EFNEP Welcomes New Staff
Everyone got first hand experience practicing knife skills, leading food demonstrations, teaching lessons, food safety basics, and much more. This training provides many foundational skills necessary to successfully implement EFNEP in their counties. All participants left with essential skills to build on as they continue their career with EFNEP. Great job, team!
